On this version of the 'portraits d'Ano' series, Thierry Alet plays with many technics, Acrylic, ink, brush, no brush. There is also he use of this ancient practice that find in Basquiat drawings when he write a word to cross it right away. Therefor attracting attention to what was once written. Here the 'repentis' technics make most of these heads appear dual. When you follow the paint you see one form, when you follow the line (drawing) one see another face. Our dualité is clearly stated beyond the hypocrisy of the the cubist composition of straight eyes and profil laughing heads.
