Thierry Alet developed a series of 27 paintings for the most anticipated hotel to open on the Island of Guadeloupe in 2018. These large format are painted with the help of a spin machine but not only. Many technics are employed but the traditional brush. This is a rare incursion into abstract territories for Mr. Alet. He says that hotel guests need not to be confronted with his menacing laughing heads while they are sleeping or trying to relax in the caribbean. Yet, art for the artist must always remain contemplative and invite you to travels of the minds. This is what he is looking to do in these ink on canvas.
